It's not really fair. If someone murdered someone then got shot by a cop or whatever, someone religious would say that they'll get what they deserve in hell. But wouldn't eternal torture eventually outweigh any sin committed on our humble planet because well, it's infinite?

| Why do people believe in God? I never understood why people believe in something that they dont know exists. I was in Global the other day and we started talking about how Christianity came into the Roman Empire. I dont really remember but it was about how Christianity came into the Roman Empire and got really popular with the poor people. So is believing in religion just a way to avoid reality and to make you think that your life means something and that you have to follow God's way to find happiness?
