| The "Last Supper" is the Passover. It was customary under the Law of Moses, to sacrifice a lamb and so forth.
On this night, Jesus and his disciples did not slaughter and lamb and follow the Law of Moses. Jesus gave us the bread and wine representing his flesh and blood and established the new covenat. (Luke 22-20).
This Passover feast was kept by the early Christians until the western church centered in Rome abolished it in 325 A.D.
This is why it is prophesied that Christ must come again to restore the Passover. He has come in accordance with all of the prophecies of the Bible. Par : Soldier of Melchizedek |
| The last supper was the "begining of the end" so to speak...
The disciples ate dinner with Jesus, during dinner he said that one of his disciples, sitting with him then, would betray him. All of the disciples said "No I would never betray you Lord!" very shortly after, Judas Iscariot left. When he left he went to sell Jesus' wherabouts for 30 pieces of silver(?). He betrayed Jesus with a kiss on the cheek (so the soldiars knew who to take) one of the disciples cut an ear off a soldiar and Jesus put it back on, healing him. Judas later hung himself. After this, Jesus was taken, and tried, then finally crucified.
Now does the Last supper make sense?
