Can someone please, I'm begging you, help me with MUN?
My country is Malawi and the topic is Violence against Women in Armed Conflicts.
But Malawi doesn't have any armed conflicts, and doesn't really care about the fact that their neighboring countries do, because it's one of the poorest nations in the world - it has its own problems.
In the committee, how can I work this into my general and substantive debate speeches - how am I supposed to say "my country doesn't have this problem and doesn't care about it" and still sound confident and intelligent?
And what am I supposed to say during substantive debate? Heck, how am I even supposed to convince my resolution group to let me present my group's resolution when my country has no real view on the issue?
