| What's meant by "long white zits" in "Camera Eye 41", "1919", "USA" trilogy, written by John Dos Passos? Here's the context in the Camera Eye 41: Please note Time is 1st May 1919 Location: Paris (Garches) (---) represent spaces in the original text (please note Camera Eyes are mostly characterized by an irritating absence of punctuation, jammed-together words and other typographical odnesses) Quote arent you coming to the anarchist picnic--- there's going to be an anarchist picnic this afternoon--- it was way out at Garches in a kind of park--- there were youngsters and young girls with glasses and old men with their whiskers and long white zits and everybody wore black artist ties--- a young man with a black artist tie was reading a poem---Voilà said a voice c'est plûtot le geste proletaire--- it was a nice afternoon we sat on the grass and looked around le geste proletaire. unquote Thanks in advance Catégorie : Books & Authors Par : Ali Kahrobaie |

| Which one of those studies are the most likely to offer job opportunities ? Hi there !! I'm a French gal from Paris and intend to move and settle in Sydney asap (as my boyfriend lives there and fell in love with that city and country ^^) In order to do so, intend to sudy over there, but am still hesitating between a few ideas (oh, precision : I want to have an interesting job, not necesserily extra-well paid, but to be sure I will find one.... also, am good at languages, but dreadful at maths...) So here are my choices : Bachelor of International Communication : http://www.international.mq.edu.au/study/areas_coursedetails.aspx?cse=118&CurrentYear=2008&Location=North%20Ryde%20(Sydney)&CourseLevelID=1&StudyOptionID=1 Bachelor of Commerce Marketing : http://www.international.mq.edu.au/study/areas_coursedetails.aspx?cse=18&CurrentYear=2008&Location=North%20Ryde%20(Sydney)&CourseLevelID=1&StudyOptionID=1 The first one is more attracting to me, but can I find a job easily with it ? Is the second offering more opportunities ? Is it hard ? Besides, studies are rather expensive in Oz, compared to France... Is it difficult to work in the same time in order to have money ? Can part-time job and studies can be easily combine ? Thank you soooo much ^^ @ homer... yep... can ya Ozzies speak French ? :) PS : even if you don't know personnally what to tell me, could you please transfer this question (by sending its link or putting it a star) so people around you who might know could help ? Cheers ^^ What about this one ? http://www.international.mq.edu.au/study/areas_coursedetails.aspx?cse=120&CourseLevelID=1&StudyOptionID=1&Location=North%20Ryde%20(Sydney) Catégorie : Higher Education (University +) Par : nonizukat... |
| Anyone with excellent knowledge of Paris streets/landmarks? Could someone with excellent knowledge of Paris (a local maybe?) please tell me an easy to find location for me to meet a friend. Neither of us have ever been there, so it needs to be somewhere easy to find, and not somewhere too crowded or busy. I'll have a suitcase with me, so I don't want to walk too far either. I'll be coming from the Charles de Gaulle airport probably by train, and my friend will be coming from Avenue du Général de Gaulle , 93170 Bagnolet. I have no idea if these two places are close to each other, I've tried looking, but I'm hopeless with maps! Clear directions as well would be much appreciated! Thank you.
